Has anyone ever ordered material from the Archivo del Arzobispado de Guadalajara (AAG)? Is it possible? Is it expensive? If you have info on this can you post it to the group?

As far as the Legend of the Hacienda de la Yegua Rusa, I heard a
similar legend about one of my ancestors too--not the Martin del Campos
either. It was totally false, as I found this ancestor's baptism record

There is a story on GeneaNet about how the surname Martin del Campo de la Hacienda de la Yegua Rusa came to be. A baby boy was left at the doorstep of the Hacienda, and his name was Martin del Campo.
