Films from FHC
Greetings: At one time I saw on the FHC site that copies of individual records could be ordered in lieu of ordering films. Now I cant locate this and someone had also commented that copies could be ordered.
For Joseph: Help needed in posting tree
I am about ready to post my research on my Alvarado tree from San Luis Potosi and my Gonzalez tree from Zacatecas. I need guidance as to how to post on this site and what information I should provide (i.e sources).
I couldn't have done it without my primos' help at NuestrosRanchos
Following the principle of documenting each generation and looking for "who's your daddy's, daddy's, daddy's, daddy's, etc.",
I've discovered and documented 18 generations and bridged it to Spain. When in doubt, I ordered the microfilm of Mexico's church records of baptismsm, marriages, and public records to verify my research.
Introduction and Research Interest
Hello Everyone!
I have just joined the group. I have been reading some of your research work and it is quite impressive. You are all so very helpful to everyone and look forward to communicating with all of you.
Introduction / Research Interests
Hello Everyone!
I've just joined the group; having found it through a couple of search engines.
I am researching my wife's family. Her maternal grandmother, Maria Eutiquia Escobar (b. 1883), is from Aguascalientes. Her ancestors have roots in Aguascalientes (Aguascalientes), Zacatecas (Trancoso, Pinos), and Jalisco (Lagos de Moreno). My wife's father's family (Lara) is from Guanajuato, as is her materal grandfather (Eutiquia's second husband, Juan Navarro).
