No Grandparents Included

For the most part, the baptism records from the early 1700's do not include the name of Grandparents. Does anyone know what's the best way to continue finding the family lineage?

Angelina, what a great find!

Newspapers or archives in the State of Jalisco, Archivos o periodicos del estado de Jalisco.

Does anyone know if there is a repository for old newspapers in Mexico. I know here in the US you can go to your local libraries to find microfilmed copies of old newspaper articles.

Haciendas of Mexico

Angelina, Mr. Cuellar,

Thank you for the information regarding my relatives. I was not aware of familysearch.org but now I doubt anyone will ever be able to get me off of it.

To Steven Hernández - Regarding DIEGO ROMO DE VIVAR & MARIANA DE VILLALOBOS

Steven,

According to my records I show Nicolás Romo de Vivar and María de
Villalobos had a son named Pedro. It could be a different couple, but the
dates are close.

Census Records

Does anyone have suggestions for finding census records of Indios living on the Hacienda de Garabato and Hacienda de Parades in Aguascalientes in the 1700s? Do such records exist?
