My name is Luis JAIME. After stopping my genealogy research for 11 years because of a dead end I have decided to pick it up again now that I've found this great nuestrosranchos.com web site. Something that didn't exsist back then... I don't think I can ever break through the dead end but I hope to share my research and data with other connections to my tree. There are still a few unanswered questions I have as well as some loose JAIME tree that I've yet to connect.

My research is with my surname JAIME(s) JAYME(s), XAIME(s), de XAYME(s) and all variations thereof.

The oldest JAIME in my ancestor tree is one Jorge JAIME born in the late 1600's "Espanol de padres no conocidos." d. 1716 in Aguascalientes while living in el Alcon, JAL. He "appears" in history in "el Puesto de San Miguel" which is now at the foot of "el Serro de los Gallos" and is now called San Miguel. Back then it was owned and run by the ALBA family. He married 23 May 1694 Maria DELGADO LOPES b.24 Mar 1617 in Aguasclientes d. 6 Aug 1720 in San Miguel.
