My father was a "bracero" (laborer contracted in a group). I think "bracero" term refers to "brazo" equal to "arm" for labor or work in the U. S. during, but not exclusivly, World War II and Korea War.

I don't know, I just spent time with my Tia Esperanza and some of my cousins in Dixon the other day. She still lives in the small town they are from in Acatic. My Tia Maria and her husband live there part time also. Most of my cousins live here now. I have a cousin in Sacramento, Tula, and her sister Lisa lives in San Antonio Tx.
