Where was Cuisco?

My great grandfather Bernardo del Real (Herrera) was born in Cuisco, Jal.
I can not locate this town on any map. Was it integrated into Colotlan?

Does anyone have ancestors from here? Does anyone know the history? I just realized today that the official name is San Jose de los Marquez. Some of my family from there is Marquez.

I wonder what the town dance must have been like during Colonial times?

A town dance or gathering during colonial times. Meeting people from other villages, towns, haciendas, ranchos at the dance.
