Found this map called, Villa Nuestra Senora de Purificacion and also with surrounding ranchos. When I was looking at the names of the ranchos they look familiar.

Reading about the Frigate “San Carlos” that embarked in the port of San Blas, Nayarit, Mexico in 11/26/1775. Then traveled up north to San Francisco. Commanded by Juan De Ayala.

Hola , I believe that the Mulatos were looking at a chance of freedom but maybe the owners (after/during the revolution) sent them away seeing that couldn't feed them and had no labor force .

Hola Linda , I understand that the Espanoles kept to themselves but by looking at the records ,there are tons of Mulatos to the point( I think) there could of been some Mulato Groups/colonies/Individ
