Baltazar Diaz married Beatriz de Tiscareño. I don't know who Baltazar's

Does anyone know if all the baptims are required to include the pat. and mat. grandparent's names? Or did it just depend on the preist. Ive only seen 1800's baptisms and always include parents, pat. and mat.
