Hello, My name is Minerva. Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of this group- I am a new researcher since only last year I started my investigation into my father’s ancestry from Los Altos de Jalisco.

A sample of my father’s genealogical line has been saved in this folder: http://www.nuestrosranchos.com/en/mflores - I am expecting to add additional information to this folder soon.

**********************************************
I am researching the individuals below at the moment and would greatly appreciate any information you might have about them:

1) Plutarco Flores Jimenez (or Flores Aceves?) from Coyotes, Zapotlanejo, Jalisco, who was married to Petra Davalos Guzman (bef 1815- bef 1877) from Encinos, Zapotlanejo, Jalisco. They both lived in Corralillo, Zapotlanejo, Jalisco at some point as well.

I estimate Plutarco was born before 1814 and died in 1876. I have found some sources that list Plutarco's father as Guadalupe Flores and other sources as Valentin Flores. His mother is referenced as Dionicia Jimenez or sometimes Dionicia Aceves. I am kind of stuck at Plucarco.

I am not sure if this helps, but Plutarco is the second-grandfather of Coronel Gabino Flores Torres who fought during the Cristero war. Here is a link to information about Gabino: http://guardianacionalcristera.com/cabalgata-cristera-coronel-gabino-flores-corralillos-jalisco/

2) Sebastian de Azeves married to Maria de Velasco from Ayo el chico, Ayotlan, Jalisco. Sebastian and Maria are parents of Francisco Xavier Aceves, who married Maria Guadalupe Valdivia in Ayo el Chico on June 02, 1755.

3) Antonio Joseph Ramirez married to Maria Petra Oliden. Antonio and Maria are parents of Ignacio Julian Ramirez Oliden born on March 16, 1773 in Coyotes, Zapotlanejo, Jalisco.

4) Josepha Polonia Curiel married to Fernando Vizcarra in 1766 in Tonala, Jalisco. I believe her parents were German Curiel and Rita Gutierres they were all from Rancho del Populo, Tonala, but I am not 100% sure yet.

Any information about the ancestors of any of these people is much appreciated.

Looking forward to reading much more of the vast information the group has provided on the website (I have a lot of catching up to do), and hopefully there might be something I can help you guys with as well.

Best Regards,
Minerva
