Arzola (Jalisco/Zacatecas/Aguascalientes/San Luis Potosi)

I have two questions concerning the Arzola family:

The first is concerning the line of Capitan Don Pedro de Arzola, vecino y minero del Real de Panuco. He was married to Dona Cecilia Lopes de Soto. They were the parents of Maria, Josefa, Nicolasa, and Cecilia de Arzola. Cecilia de Arzola was the mother of Gertrudis de Avila, who married Juan de Salas. Juan de Salas and Gertrudis de Avila had Dona Maria Francisca de Salas who married Don Francisco del Muro.

Question 1: The line that connects Pedro de Arzola to Francisca de Salas seems to be generally accepted as true, but does anyone have an exact source for this? … A dispensa? …A reliable book?

The second question regards a crossover of states. Many of the early settlers of Jalisco, Zacatecas, and Aguascalientes, had relations in San Luis Potosi. As it turns out, there is an Arzola family located in San Luis Potosi which was contemporary to the Pedro de Arzola mentioned above.

The following information is abstracted from the book “Diccionario biografico de antiques pobladores de San Luis Potosi 1592-1666”:

Juan de Arzola I, Minero (estimated birth 1574, Guipuzcoa, Reinos de Castilla, died after 1606) married Dona Ines de Salas. They had:

1. Magdalena de Arzola (baptized 1 May 1594, San Luis Potosi), married to Capitan Andres Perez, “Labrador en el Valle de Mexquitic”, “aparece como proveedor local, en los almacenes reales de San Luis y San Miguel Mexquitic” (born about 1575, Villa de San Felipe, San Miguel, Nueva Espana, died after 13 August 1634 or after 10 February 1640);

2. Andres de Arzola (estimated birth 1589, died between January 1619 and 13 September 1632), married to Dona Ines de Salas y Valdes (died after 13 September 1632);

3. Juan de Arzola II, “Estante en San Bartolome de la Pendencia (Zacatecas)” (died after 15 April 1615);

4. Juana de Arzola (baptized 6 June 1599, San Luis Potosi, died after 23 August 1659), married to Bartolome Rodriguez Tenorio (born Villa de Jimena del Castellar, Reinos de Castilla, died after 11 February 1658).

Three unplaced individuals include: An Ambrosio de Arzola (born about 1574, died after 7 May 1599), a Martin de Arzola (estimated birth 1576, died after 15 April 1615), and a Pedro de Arzola (estimated birth 1582, died after April 1602).

Question 2: Has anyone seen anything that may connect the Arzolas of San Luis Potosi with the family of Capitan Don Pedro de Arzola, vecino y minero del Real del Panuco? … Could Pedro de Arzola of Panuco be the same as Pedro de Arzola of San Luis Potosi? … Could Pedro de Arzola be a son or brother of Juan de Arzola I?
