Introduction - Brandye Johnson - Delgado's - Jalisco, Mexico
Hi,
My name is Brandye Johnson and I am researching my grandfather’s family on my mother’s side. I am on my 3rd go around. The genealogy attached to my file is from my second attempt. I have traced three separate family lines for Mucio Delgado. I am feeling semi-confident I have correct, now. I still have to update my genealogy folder with the new information.
The region my family is from is La Encarnacion, Encarnacion De Diaz, Jalisco, Mexico.
• My grandfather is Jose Jorg "George" Delgado.
• His parents Carlos Fernandez Delgado (bn. 1900 El Paso, Tx) and Artemia "Armida"
Grey (bn. 1908 Sonora MX)
• Carlo’s parents Mucio Rubalcava Delgado (bn. 1875 Jalisco, MX) and Cruz/Cruzita
Fernandez (bn. 1877 Sonora, MX or Chihuahua, MX).
• Mucio’s parents Martin Delgado Alba/Alva (bn. 1847 La Encarnacion, Encarnacion De
Diaz, Jalisco, MX) and Ladislava Rubalcaba; Ladisda Rubaleaba; Maria Ladislao
Rovalcava (bn. 1849 La Encarnacion, Encarnacion De Diaz, Jalisco, MX)
• Martin’s parents Simon Delgado (bn. ?) and Omobana De Alba/Alva (bn. ?) they were
married in La Encarnacion, Encarnacion De Diaz, Jalisco, MX 1846.
• Simon’s parents Juan Delgado (bn. ?) and Susan Arias Robalcava (bn. 1798 La
Encarnacion, Encarnacion De Diaz, Jalisco, MX)
• Juan’s parents Jph. Ramon Delgado (bn. ?) and Maria Guadalupe Santos (bn. ?) they
were married in La Encarnacion, Encarnacion De Diaz, Jalisco, MX 1793.
I am still fumbling around this site. I am also signing up with Ancestry.com. If anyone can comment about their experience and the info that site has for this region I would really appreciate it. I am so thrilled I found this site and I look forward to sharing information with you all.
Cheers.
