Eligio de Xauregui

Raquel,

I don't know who the Eligio in this record descends from. I am researching
my 6th great-grandparents Eligio de Xauregui and Maria de la Concepcion
Ponce. The children I have found of Eligio and Maria are as follows: 1)
Maria Theresa who married Antonio Eulogio Prieto on 5 Nov 1764 in Cuquio,
Jalisco. 2) Esteban Miguel born on 2 Aug 1736 in Puesto de Santa Ynes del
Sauz, Aguascalientes. 3) Antonia Thomasa who was born on 28 Dec 1739 in Sauz
de los Macias, Aguascalientes.

As I came across the record I inquired about, I thought that it might be the
same couple because the dates don't overlap and the location of the
children's births are close in proximity. However, the wife's name is
Gertrudis in the record, not Maria de la Concepcion. I feel like I need to
find a few more records before I can reach a conclusion. If anyone else is
researching this family, please let me know.

I noticed that the parents in this record are Eligio de Xaurgui and
Gertrudis Ponce. Is Eligio a descendent of Eligio de Xauregui and Anna de
Sepulveda (md 14 Feb 1695 in Nochistlan)?
