Mac software

By romero89 - Posted on 16 November 2009

I've been using Reunion for years and find it very easy to use.
Entries are easy and lookups are easy. It's much better than Family
Tree Maker was before they stopped supporting Macintosh. I've
upgraded twice and had no problems with information transferring to
the new versions. I haven't used the other Mac program you mentioned
so I cannot comment on it.

As with everything computer related, there is a learning curve. I
found Reunion's learning curve intuitive and quick. I'm 67 and have
little patience with complicated programs and dump them rather than
waste my time trying to learn them. I found Reunion within my scope
of ability and am happy with it.

Good luck with whichever program you decide to go with. You'll
probably choose the one you learn the fastest. I would.
