Aguascalientes Marriages in the 1600's

By gpf13 - Posted on 09 August 2009

I have just posted an extraction of the Informacion Matrimonial files for Aguascalientes for the period prior to 1700.

I have extracted all the names for the bride and groom, and when in the original record, their parents names, prior spouses, and ethnicity. For a few, I also included their stated age. In some cases, I've added notes to the information, especially if the record is a dispensation, of if type of record was unclear.

The list is chronological. It is a pdf file of 131 pages.

Each record will give the volume, as posted at Family Search Pilot, and the image number of the first page of the record. Most records are three images, some are shorter, a few are much longer.

The original records are not in chronological order. There are some records of the 1700s, and a very few from the 1800s, mixed in with these. Also, a volume may be identified for a particular year, and may include records from prior or later years.

The file, and some background information, including some limitations, is posted in the Files area, under "Aguascalientes Marriage Information."

If you note any errors, please let me know!
