a) Spainard who built the Cathedral in Guadalajara, according to Jose Alberto Casillas, related to Viceroy Mendoza
b) Martin is also Miguel Hidalgo's maternal side family member...
2) Jose Maria Casillas, Gonzalez de Hermosillo (insurgent)
(R1b) Casillas DNA Work completed / Celtic (most likely the Spanish Netherlands, same place Carlos 5th was born)

Some last names vascillate as it was the custom for women to sometimes use their grandmothers last names. Truncation of last names also occured;such as the name of "Casillas" as is the "de la torre" family from los Altos de Jalisco...they would originally be "Casillas de la Torre", or synthisis like Gonzalez, de Hermosillo becomes Gonzalez de Hermosillo. Or Cabrera becomes "y Cabrera" or "de Cabrera."

2) Ricardo Rodrigo, whose a currently researching all families and origins from el Valle de Guadalupe and has also verfied and completed dna sampling from various families. Includes actual Birth Certificates
3) Family lore, father told me we were descendants of Jose Maria and Martin "Alarife" Casillas, lore that we are descendant of Germanic people.
4) Lore that the Spainards were tongue in cheek Catholics, a touch of Celtic paganism, ever heard of a "Dwinde?" or "Nuevo Galicia?"
5) Oxford University/ Oxford Ancestors Paternal and maternal tests. Fathers are from the "Oisin Clan"
