Fw: RE: The original GARCIA last name is "GARCIA DE ALBA"
Hi, All,
I've been having problems with my e-mail so I'm hoping this time I reach someone.
A few days ago I sent the attached information to Gloria Fuentes and (I thought) to Nuestros Ranchos; but I have not seen it posted with the rest of the correspondence, and I don't think Gloria got it either; so I'm re-sending it. Hopefully this time I have the right address(es) and it gets posted in the general correspondence.
Hope to hear from someone...

Hi, Gloria.
Thanks for inquiring about my Sandoval family.... I have had very little time to work on my genealogy, and when I have checked my e-mail, I haven't seen any of the name combinations below being discussed on NR forums, so I am really glad you contacted me.
Here's the Sandoval side of my family:
- Mother: Maria Guadalupe SANDOVAL
- - Grandfather: Jose Melquiades SANDOVAL
- - Grandmother: Maria Isaac SANDOVAL (yes...!)
- - - PG Grandparents: Nicolas de SANDOBAL
Maria Ladislao SEPULVEDA
- - - MG Grandparents: Jose Hilario SANDOVAL
Maria Juana ORTIS
- - - - PGG Grandparents: Jose Maria SANDOBAL
& Jasinta YNIGUES
Guillermo SEPULVEDA
& ?Simona SANDOVAL?
- - - - MGG Grandparents: Buenaventura SANDOVAL
& Higinia DELGADILLO
Jose Carlos ORTIZ
& Agustina ANDRADE
As you can see, I'm finding out that I, too, come from that great legion of 'Jalisco-ites' who had to obtain the Church's dispensation just about every time there was a wedding!...

Last time I went to Jalisco was probably in the late '70's, and I wasn't at all interested in genealogy then. However, it really registered with me that when we went to Ostotan, a lot of the residents came out to greet us, and a lot of them were our relatives! I've been wanting to go back ever since, but life got in the way...
Let me know if any names look familiar.... I really hope we can make a connection!...

I have no indication that any of Dad's family comes from Jalisco (which is where my mother's Sandoval family comes from), but ironically, I have found the last name ALCALA in Jalisco records but not a trace in Tamaulipas. I have not brought it up in the NR site because I have no indication Dad's ALCALA family comes from Jalisco, but who knows? If any of these names sound familiar, please let me know, any leads will be much appreciated.
