The book I have is titled "Fundadores de Nueva Galicia". Perhaps your
friend was referring to another book by Garmendia Leal. I believe he has
authored others. I checked my book and I see some Alvarados on page 30, but
they are from Guadalajara. I purchased my book through Borderlands
bookstore and I believe they still have some of Mr. Garmendia Leal's
books available.
