The Indigenous custom of using flowers sounds very beautiful. The lazo
which is a rather large rosary used for marriage ceremony is also very
meaningful in having Our Lady's blessing of the union.

This is an interesting article about the meaning and survival of some of
our
Mexican wedding traditions. The only thing that I disagree with is the

"lasso" - I heard that the indigenous had used flowers to encircle the
couple,
and this was substituted with the "lasso - rosario" with the Spanish
influence.
Who knows - but it is interesting nevertheless!
